Chobita R., 22

Chobita Rani is a 22-year-old mother expecting her second child, living with her husband Panchom Bormon, their young son, and her elderly in-laws, who are too old to work. Panchom earns a small and unstable income as a day laborer, barely enough to provide daily food for the family, making it impossible for them to afford the cost of specialized medical care. Chobita is now over 34 weeks pregnant, and her baby is in a breech position, which makes her pregnancy high-risk and requires a safe hospital delivery. Without proper treatment, attempting a natural birth could put both Chobita and her unborn baby in serious danger, risking severe complications or even loss of life. Despite her hardships, Chobita remains hopeful and gentle, dreaming only of a safe delivery so she can continue caring for her family and her young child.

The patient,Chobita Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 11th December 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 14th December 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest treatment option for Chobita Rani's delivery. With this procedure, both mother and baby are expected to have a stable and healthy outcome, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation and her previous cesarean history. The surgery will help prevent life-threatening complications such as uterine rupture, fetal distress, or prolonged labor. If the condition is left untreated and a vaginal delivery is attempted, both Chobita and her baby could face severe complications, including the risk of losing the baby or endangering the mother’s life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore critical for a safe and successful delivery.
