Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Most Mahafuza Akter is a kind and hardworking 29-year-old housewife who lives with her husband Md. Billal Hossin, a day laborer, their young son Mahmudullah Mahir, and elderly family members in a five-member household struggling to survive on a monthly income of only 9,000 taka. She loves cooking and dreams of giving birth to a healthy baby, but the family is still burdened by debt from her previous caesarean surgery, which was managed through a loan from an NGO. Now at 32 weeks of pregnancy, she developed lower abdominal pain, and medical tests showed that the baby is in a risky position that requires careful medical management. With no savings and an unstable income, her husband and family are unable to afford the cost of treatment. Without timely medical care, both Mahafuza and her unborn baby could face serious and life-threatening complications, which is why, after learning about Helpster from another patient and contacting Bablu Abdullah, the family is seeking urgent support.

Medical history

Mst Mahafuza Akter was admitted to the hospital on December 10, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech presentation. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn were discharged in good health on December 15, 2025. Her mother-in-law came to the hospital to receive both the mother and the newborn. The family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their treatment, care, and support. Her mother-in-law was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Outcome

Doctors have advised that LUCS is the safest treatment option for Most Mahafuza Akter due to the baby’s breech position and her history of a previous caesarean section. Performing LUCS will allow a planned and controlled delivery, greatly reducing the risk of birth injury, prolonged labor, or distress to the baby, while also protecting the mother from serious complications. With timely surgery, both mother and child are expected to recover well and begin a healthy future together. If left untreated or if labor starts naturally, there is a high risk of emergency complications that could threaten the lives of both the baby and the mother. Therefore, LUCS is essential to ensure a safe outcome for this pregnancy.
