Most Kohinur Khatun is a kind, hardworking housewife who carefully looks after her two young daughters and her elderly mother-in-law, while her husband Md. Rabiul Islam struggles daily as a rickshaw puller to support the family on a very limited monthly income of only 8,000 taka. With such a low income, almost all earnings are spent on food, rent, and basic needs, leaving nothing for emergency medical treatment or surgery. Now in her third pregnancy, Kohinur dreams of giving birth to a healthy baby, but her breech presentation puts both her life and the baby’s life at serious risk if proper medical care is not provided. If she does not receive timely treatment, complications during delivery could lead to severe bleeding, injury to the baby, or even loss of life, which would devastate her husband, young daughters Rubina and Roja, and her aged mother-in-law Banicha. Despite her poverty, Kohinur remains hopeful, gentle, and devoted to her family, wishing only for a safe delivery and a better future for her children.

Most Kohinur Khatun was admitted to the hospital on December 08, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both mother and newborn were discharged on December 12, 2025, in good health. This procedure will give both mother and child a strong chance at a healthy recovery and a normal life after delivery. However, if the condition is left untreated and labor progresses naturally, the baby may suffer serious complications such as trauma, asphyxia, or even death. The mother could also face life-threatening risks including severe bleeding, uterine rupture, or infection.
