Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Arifa Akter is a young, caring housewife from a family that survives on the unstable daily wages of her husband, Md. Al Amin Angur, whose monthly income of only BDT 8,000 must support five family members, including an elderly grandmother-in-law and a school-going brother-in-law. Gentle in nature and hopeful despite hardship, Arifa dreams of giving birth to a healthy baby, but the family has no savings and struggles to meet even basic needs, making medical expenses impossible to afford. She learned about Helpster Charity from a poster and reached out to Bablu Abdullah in search of support. Now at 36 weeks of pregnancy, she is facing a high-risk condition with watery vaginal discharge and a breech-positioned baby, which requires urgent medical care. Without timely treatment, Arifa and her unborn child are at serious risk of birth complications, including prolonged labor, fetal distress, or even loss of life.

Medical history

Arifa Akter was admitted to the hospital on December 07, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn were discharged on December 11, 2025, in good health. Her mother in law came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic and Md Abdullah Miah for their treatment and support. Her mother in law was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Outcome

Doctors have advised LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) as the safest treatment option for Arifa Akter due to the breech presentation and associated risks. With timely LUCS, the baby can be delivered safely, significantly reducing the chances of birth trauma, oxygen deprivation, and life-threatening complications for both mother and child. The procedure will allow Arifa to begin motherhood in good health and give her baby a strong chance at a normal, healthy life. If the condition is left untreated and a normal delivery is attempted, there is a high risk of prolonged labor, fetal distress, cord prolapse, or even stillbirth. Delay in treatment could result in irreversible harm to the baby and serious complications for the mother.
