Halima Anas is an 18-year-old young girl from a caring and humble family. She is a diligent student who balances her schoolwork with helping her mother at home. Halima is generally healthy, with no known chronic illnesses or previous surgeries. Her family describes her as responsible, kind, and active, often participating in community and school activities. She has had no significant hospital admissions before. Halima Anas, an 18-year-old female, presented with severe right lower abdominal pain of 2 days’ duration. The pain started around the umbilical region and gradually migrated to the right iliac fossa. It is constant, sharp, and worsens with movement. She reports nausea and a single episode of vomiting, loss of appetite, and mild fever. No diarrhea or urinary symptoms are noted. She has not had previous abdominal surgeries or chronic illnesses. On presentation, she was examined,evaluated and diagnosed with Acute appendicitis. In the interim, an antibiotic and pain medication was administered to relief pain. Surgical intervention (appendectomy) is planned pending approval from Helpster Charity Foundation.

HALIMA,an 18-year-old female, presented with a sudden onset of right lower abdominal pain,nausea and vomiting for since 3 days.Pain is severe and constant often worsen with movement, associated with symptoms of loss of appetite and fever. After thorough evaluation, she was diagnosed with Acute appendicitis R/O Ruptured appendix.She underwent successful Ex.Lap surgery without immediate complications. Following a 3-day hospital stay for close monitoring and post-operative care, HALIMA recovered well and was discharged home with a scheduled follow-up appointment for 1 week.She has since fully recovered and resumed regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

Halima's condition is in acute stage and she is in severe pain, discomfort,fever, vomiting with mild dehydration and she has a great chance of survival if treatment commence in good time.Usually,acute appendicitis can be easily removed surgically and patient is discharged home within 72 hours with good post operative management with antibiotics and good pain management.However,Delaying treatment can lead to a ruptured appendix,a more severe condition in which the appendix get bursts and leads to collection of pus,peritonitis,severe dehydration and sepsis which can be difficult to treat with all mechanism. An appendectomy, or surgical removal of the appendix, is typically the recommended treatment to ensure her recovery and prevent further complications.
