Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Isiyaku Dahiru is a cheerful and curious 7-year-old boy who enjoys playing with friends and engaging in outdoor games. He likes learning and listening to stories, and he dreams of growing up to help others, possibly as a doctor or teacher. He is hopeful, resilient, and eager to return to school and normal activities. The child suddenly developed high fever with chills, weakness, headache, and vomiting for four days. Presented in the hospital with onset of high-grade fever, chills and rigors. On examination: Generally ill lookin, febrile, lethargic with mild splenomegaly on abdominal examination. Rapid Malaria Test yielded Plasmodium Falciparum ++. Diagnosis:Severe Malaria.

Medical history

Isiyaku, a 7-year-old boy, was admitted on 08/12/2025 with malaria. He received appropriate antimalarial medications, fever control, supportive care, and close medical monitoring. After three days in the hospital, Isiyaku responded well to treatment. His fever resolved, he regained his strength, and he was discharged home in good condition, able to return to his normal daily activities. Thanks to Helpter Charity for sponsoring the treatment of Isiyaku.

Outcome

With prompt and complete treatment, the doctor expects the child to recover fully and return to normal health and daily activities. However, if left untreated, severe malaria can lead to serious complications such as severe anemia, organ failure, coma, or death. However, with proper hospital care, the prognosis is likely good. He's currently receiving antimalarial medication, intravenous fluids, and close monitoring to manage her life-threatening condition and support her recovery.
