Background
Adama a 2year old girl was the last born to her parents having to siblings their fathers name is Musa Ali popularly known as me gona meaning king of farmers her mother sell grants they leave at Gashua. Adama was brought to Ayaji with following complaints in couple of week presented with a noticeable of umbilical hernia with area of septic lesion. The hernia was describe the characteristics on reducible, easily palpable, caused discomfort upon exertion. It has an area below that is open and septic. Diagnosis of Septic Umbilical Hernia.
Medical history
Adama a 2-year-old child, was diagnosed with umbilical hernia following a protrusion at the navel region, which became more noticeable when crying or straining. Treatment: The child was prepared for elective surgical repair (herniorrhaphy) to correct the defect and prevent complications such as incarceration or strangulation. The hernia was successfully repaired under appropriate anesthesia. Postoperatively, she was managed with Paracetamol for pain relief and Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and discomfort. Prophylactic antibiotics such as Ceftriaxone were administered to prevent surgical site infection. Wound care and dressing were also maintained under sterile conditions. Recovery: Adama recovered well after surgery with no complications. The surgical site healed properly, and he was able to resume normal activities gradually. There was no recurrence of the hernia during the hospital stay. She was discharged in stable condition with advice on wound care, proper hygiene, avoiding excessive straining, and attending follow-up visits for review and full recovery monitoring.
Outcome
Adama was brought to Ayaji hospital with following complaints in couple of weak after presented he was diagnosed with a noticeable of unblical hernia with area of septiclesion. if the bulge becomes red or tender, as these could be signs of a serious complication. is good with early treatment before it gets strangulated.
