Mohammad is a cheerful and lively 9-month-old baby who lives with his parents and older brother in a small tin-shed rental house, where his parents dream of seeing him grow up healthy and become a kind doctor one day. His family survives with very limited income, making it impossible for them to afford costly medical treatment when Mohammad suddenly fell seriously ill with pneumonia. Despite trying a government hospital, they were unable to get a bed, and their financial hardship left them with no other option. Without proper treatment, Mohammad’s condition could worsen quickly, leading to severe breathing problems and life-threatening complications. Hearing about Helpster Charity from community members who had received help through Narayanganj Poly Clinic, the family is now seeking urgent support to save their child’s life and future.

Mohammad 9 month -old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few months, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at Narayanganj Polyclinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Mohammad was admitted on 29/12/25, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 04/01/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Mohammad is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and Narayanganj Polyclinic for saving our son's life; we are forever grateful for your support!"

The patient was suffering from pneumonia, which posed a life-threatening risk and required immediate treatment. Upon admission, he received emergency care, including intramuscular antibiotics, nebulization, and oxygen support, as intravenous administration was not feasible due to repeated cannula displacement. If left untreated, this condition could have led to serious lung infections, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death; however, I am pleased to report that the patient is now doing well and has returned to his normal daily life, bringing smiles to his parents' faces.
