Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Just one month old, this helpless baby girl was discovered abandoned in the wilderness. A compassionate Good Samaritan brought her to the Federal Medical Centre Bida, where we've been caring for her over the past two weeks. However, she is suffering from Hydrocephalus, a condition that has caused a dangerous enlargement of her head. To give her a fighting chance at life, she desperately needs a crucial medical operation.

Medical history

The abandoned baby girl was diagnosed of hydrocephalus and had Ventriculo-peritoneal shunt. After several days of the surgery the child died.

Prognosis

The baby is suffering from Hydrocephalus and the outcome is good but it is a critical condition.
