Akash Barman is a gentle and kind-hearted 7-year-old boy from an extremely poor family, living with his parents and elder brother who is also seriously ill. His father works as a day laborer and struggles to earn enough to meet daily needs, making it impossible to afford surgeries for both Akash’s hydrocele and his elder brother’s appendicitis. Despite his pain, Akash remains cheerful, polite, and emotionally sensitive, dreaming of going to school regularly and growing up to support his parents. If Akash does not receive timely surgery, his condition may worsen, causing severe pain, infection, and long-term health complications that could limit his normal childhood. After learning about Helpster Charity from Sadika Rahman, the family reached out in hope of saving both children and restoring stability to their struggling household.

The patient,Akash Barmon was admitted to City Clinic on 11th April 2026. A successful hydrocele operation section was performed the same day.The child progressed well and were discharged on 15th April 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

Doctors have advised hydrocelectomy as a safe and effective treatment for Akash’s condition. With timely surgery, the accumulated fluid will be removed, relieving pain and swelling and allowing Akash to return to normal physical activities and school life. Successful treatment will prevent future complications and support healthy growth and development. However, if the hydrocele is left untreated, it may continue to enlarge, causing increasing discomfort, risk of infection, and possible damage to the testicle. Delaying surgery could affect Akash’s long-term health and quality of life, making early intervention essential.
