Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Md. Shahin Alom is a gentle and faith-loving 9-year-old boy who enjoys playing football and dreams of becoming a teacher, even as he grows up in a fragile mud-made house with his parents and two siblings. His father, Habibur Rahman, struggles to support the five-member family on a monthly income of only 6,000 taka as a van driver, while his mother Shahina Akter manages the household, leaving no savings for medical care. Shahin’s painful condition causes fever, difficulty in urination, and severe scrotal pain that affects his daily life and schooling. Doctors have warned that without timely surgery, the infection may permanently damage his organs, lead to repeated infections, or spread through his body, putting his life at serious risk. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a health worker at New Evercare Hospital and is now seeking support as their only hope to save Shahin’s health and future.
Medical history
Shahin Alom was admitted on 15.05.2026 with complaints of left-sided epididymo-orchitis associated with hypospadias. After detailed clinical evaluation and necessary investigations, the doctors decided to perform corrective surgery for hypospadias on the same day of admission. The operation was conducted successfully under proper medical supervision without any complications. Following the surgery, Shahin was kept under close observation and received appropriate medical management, including antibiotics, pain management, regular dressing, and continuous nursing care. His condition gradually improved with treatment, and the surgical site remained healthy and stable. Due to proper postoperative care, careful monitoring, and supportive nursing management, Shahin recovered well and achieved a safe and secure condition. As his overall health condition became stable and satisfactory, he was discharged from the hospital on 18.05.2026 with advice for follow-up care and recovery management.
Outcome
According to the doctors, timely epididymectomy and urethroplasty under general anesthesia can completely correct the condition, relieve pain and infection, and allow the child to grow up with normal urinary and reproductive function. With proper treatment, the child is expected to recover well and live a healthy, active life without long-term complications. However, if the condition is left untreated, ongoing infection and blockage can severely damage the testicles and urinary system, leading to permanent disability. In severe cases, the infection can spread to the bloodstream, causing life-threatening sepsis. Doctors warn that delaying treatment significantly increases the risk of organ failure and can ultimately result in death.
