Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Most Lamia Akter is a gentle, disciplined, and courageous 16-year-old Class Ten student who lives with her parents and younger brother in a poor slum community. Her father, Awal, works as an auto-rickshaw driver with a very limited income, making it impossible for the family to afford the urgent cost of her appendicitis surgery. Despite her severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and weakness, Lamia remains calm and hopeful, always caring for her family and dreaming of becoming a doctor someday. If she does not receive treatment immediately, her appendix may burst, causing a life-threatening infection and serious complications. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through Awal’s connection with a volunteer, Md. Abu Hanif, and they are now desperately seeking support so Lamia can receive surgery, recover, and return to her studies.
Medical history
Most Lamia Akter, a sixteen-year-old student, was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain accompanied by nausea and vomiting. After careful clinical assessment and necessary investigations, doctors confirmed a diagnosis of acute appendicitis. Considering the risk of complications, an emergency appendectomy was performed successfully. Following surgery, Lamia received appropriate post-operative care, including pain management, antibiotics, and close monitoring. Her abdominal pain gradually subsided, vomiting stopped, and she was able to resume oral intake within a short period. With proper medical support and rest, her recovery progressed well. She is now stable, regaining strength, and expected to return to her normal daily activities and studies after completing the recommended recovery period.
Outcome
Doctors have advised an urgent appendectomy for Lamia Akter, as acute appendicitis can quickly become life-threatening if not treated on time. With timely surgery, she is expected to recover fully, return to her normal daily activities, and continue her studies without long-term health problems. However, if left untreated, her appendix may rupture, causing severe infection in the abdomen and leading to dangerous complications such as peritonitis or sepsis. This could result in prolonged hospitalization, permanent health damage, or even death. Immediate treatment is essential to save her life and protect her future.
