Mantasha Mou is a calm and gentle 4-year-old girl who has recently become seriously ill, suffering from sudden seizures along with delayed speech and learning difficulties. Her father, Manik Mia (35), works as a day laborer and earns only 6,000 taka per month, while her mother, Ferdousi Khatun (30), is a housewife with no income. The family has no permanent home and lives in a fragile rented house, and they also have to support their elder daughter, Mahjabin Mira (12), who studies in Class 7. With such limited earnings, the family is unable to manage daily living costs and afford the hospital treatment, tests, and medicines. They learned about Helpster Charity through a local health worker and are now seeking support, as without proper treatment Mantasha’s condition may worsen, leading to repeated seizures, permanent damage, and serious risk to her life and future.

Mantasa Mou was admitted on 29.01.2026 with sudden seizures along with speech delay, cognitive delay, and sleep disturbances for 2 days , and hyperactivity and anorexia for 3 days prior to admission. After admission, she was carefully evaluated and managed under close medical supervision. Appropriate therapeutic treatment was started, focusing on seizure control, behavioral stabilization, nutritional support, and overall supportive care. With proper medical management and dedicated nursing care, her condition gradually improved. The treatment was successful, her general condition became stable and secure, and she responded well to therapy. She was safely discharged on 01.02.2026 in improved condition, with advice for follow-up and continued care.

The recommended treatment for her is specialized anti-seizure medication to prevent further complications. With timely treatment, the patient is expected to recover well and lead a healthy life. However, if the treatment is delayed or left untreated, the patient may suffer from permanent intellectual disability, developmental regression, and cognitive decline due to frequent, uncontrolled seizures. Common issues include, but are not limited to, severe behavioral problems such as aggression, autism, and movement disorders.
