Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Shaly is a two-year-old child living with her maternal grandmother. She is the only child of a teenage mother who, due to financial challenges, left to work as a house help in town, leaving Shaly in the care of her elderly grandmother. Shaly had been well until two days earlier, when she gradually developed high fever affecting her whole body. She was given painkillers at home, but her condition did not improve. She was then taken to the health facility after experiencing a convulsion lasting more than five minutes, accompanied by rolling of the eyes. The family learned about Helpster Charity during one of the organization’s when the health facility had an outreach activity in their locality; the health facility staff mentioned that there is a new organization by the name of Helpster Charity that is assisting sick underprivileged children.

Medical history

Shaly was admitted into the children's ward and put under treatment. She showed improvement and after some day was ready for discharge. Doctors prescription adherence and close monitoring since the baby is young would lead to recover fully.

Outcome

Shaly was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis after presenting with high fever and prolonged convulsions. This condition is serious and can progress rapidly, affecting the brain and nervous system. She required urgent admission, intravenous antibiotics, anticonvulsant medication, and close monitoring to control the infection and prevent complications. Following timely treatment and careful monitoring, Shaly is on a positive recovery path. With continued medication, follow-up visits, and supportive care, she should regain her strength
