Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Fatima Abdulkarim is a bright and determined 13-year-old girl. She enjoys reading, drawing, and spending time with her friends and family. Fatima is curious and loves learning new things, showing a keen interest in school activities. She dreams of staying healthy, completing her education, and pursuing a career that allows her to help others and achieve her goals. Fatima Abdulkarim, a 13-year-old girl, began experiencing lower abdominal and flank pain, painful urination, and blood in her urine about six months ago. The pain was intermittent and sometimes relieved with painkillers. On presentation at our hospital, Fatima was evaluated and Investigations revealed a bladder stone. She is currently stable, and surgery has been planned to remove the stone to avoid complications and relieve her pains, pending approval from Helpster Charity.

Medical history

Fatima, a 13-year-old girl, underwent successful surgery for the removal of a bladder stone (cystolithotomy). She received comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, including intravenous antibiotics, pain management, intravenous fluids, and close monitoring to prevent infection and ensure proper healing. The surgery was successful, resulting in complete removal of the bladder stone and relief of her urinary symptoms. Fatima recovered well during her hospital stay and was discharged home in stable condition with medications and follow-up instructions. She is expected to make a full recovery, remain free from pain, and return to her normal daily activities without long-term complications. Thank you, Helpster Charity, for saving Fatima's life and giving her the opportunity for a healthier future.

Prognosis

We believe that Fatima is in painful distress due to the indwelling bladder stone that sometimes obstruct the urine passage and cause urinary retention. This leads to painful urination, abdominal pains, difficulty urinating, and sometimes blood in urine and occasional inability to pass urine. Untreated bladder stones can cause chronic cystitis and recurrent urinary tract infections, as the stones irritate the bladder lining and harbor bacteria. Over time, they may also lead to urinary obstruction and bladder wall thickening, potentially causing permanent kidney damage or an increased risk of bladder cancer. The size of the stone is Large and surgery is the only resort to remove the stone and as well to significantly improve his health status. Bladder stone removal surgery have good outcomes and prognosis if done appropriately and early.
