Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Zara Ali Bukar is a 19-year-old young woman from a low-income family who is learning tailoring and hopes to become financially independent. She presented with sudden, severe lower abdominal pain, associated with nausea, vomiting, and abdominal tenderness. Due to financial constraints, she had a delayed presentation before reaching the hospital. On evaluation, she was diagnosed with a twisted ovarian torsion, a surgical emergency. She was promptly planned for emergency surgery, and is awaiting support from the charity, as she cannot afford the cost of urgent investigations and treatment.
Medical history
Zara, an 19-year-old female, was referred to our facility with Twisted Ovarian cyst which was also confirmed in UMD.After thorough evaluation and investigation, she underwent emergency surgery. The surgery was successful without immediate complications. Due to the nature of her sickness, she was admitted for 5 days for close monitoring and treatment.She recovered well and was discharged home after 5 days, with follow-up care scheduled for 1 week. Currently, Zara is doing well, has recovered, and has resumed regular activities. We sincerely appreciate Helpster charity foundation for the free medical services. Dr Usman Umar
Prognosis
Ovarian cyst can wreck a serious health complications if prompt medical treatment isn't commenced and with timely treatment via surgery and medications with antibiotics,pain killers and iron tonics will significantly improve the overall health status of Aisha. She is currently suffering from severe lower abdominal pain due to increasing size of the ovarian cyst which is probability impacting on the pelvic organs. The best treatment that will yield good prognosis for Aisha is the removal of the cyst or ovary affected.
