Fatima J., 17

Fatima is a curious and active 17-year-old who enjoys reading and creative activities. She looks forward to becoming independent, pursuing her ambitions, and making a positive impact in the future. Despite her determination, she comes from a low-income family that survives on about 12,000 per month, which makes it difficult to afford proper medical care. She developed sudden severe pain in the left flank about a week ago, which was associated with painful and frequent urination. She had no fever and no previous history of urinary problems. On evaluation, she was mildly uncomfortable but clinically stable. Investigations confirmed a left kidney stone, and surgical removal has been planned pending approval and support for treatment.

Fatima, a 17-year-old girl, was admitted on 13/02/2026 with a left kidney stone causing severe pain and painful urination. She underwent successful surgical treatment to remove the stone and received pain relief, intravenous fluids, and comprehensive postoperative care under close medical supervision. Following five days of hospitalization, Fatima made an excellent recovery. Her pain resolved, she was able to urinate comfortably, and she was discharged home in stable condition with follow-up instructions. Fatima is diagnosed with a Left Kidney Stone and is currently having pains with painful urination.
