Abbas is a 14-year-old boy living in Tajuwa village with his father and stepmother after the loss of his mother. Investigations, including ultrasound and diagnostic laparoscopy, confirmed an appendiceal mass. He subsequently underwent an exploratory laparotomy for definitive management.

He responded well to treatment, with gradual improvement in his condition, reduction in pain, and stabilization of his vital signs. He made a satisfactory recovery and was discharged home in stable condition. He has been scheduled for follow-up to ensure continued healing, marking a positive outcome after timely surgical intervention and care.
