Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Muhhamad is a 4-year old boy in a polygamous poor household of 10 children. He loves to eat, ride bicycles, and wants to be a teacher. He developed an umbilical swelling 2 years ago, but it was not causing any symptoms of either pain or vomiting. Currently, the child is experiencing mild obstruction of the umbilical hernia, causing pains which can be relieved by manual manipulation or release.
Medical history
Muhammad was diagnosed with an Umbilical Hernia at our facility. Surgery was successfully performed on December 24, 2023, and he was discharged on December 26, 2023.
Outcome
Without intervention, the hernia may continue to grow in size, causing increased discomfort, pain, and a noticeable bulge at the umbilicus. In severe cases, the protruding tissue can become trapped or strangulated, which is a medical emergency. Strangulation occurs when the blood supply to the herniated tissue is compromised, leading to severe pain, nausea, vomiting, and possible tissue damage or necrosis. Prompt surgical repair is typically recommended for umbilical hernias to prevent these complications and ensure the safety and well-being of the affected individual.
