Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Maimuna is a 20-year-old female from a socioeconomically disadvantaged background. She hails from a family living in extreme poverty. Her father is a low-income earner, working as a tailor, with an estimated monthly income of 20,000 naira, which is insufficient to meet the basic needs of the household. He is responsible for a family of seven, including his wife and five children. Due to limited financial resources, the family faces significant challenges in accessing adequate nutrition and healthcare services. They rely substantially on humanitarian assistance to supplement their basic needs. Maimuna dreams of becoming a charted accountant in the future so that she can redeem her family from poverty. Maimuna Muhammad, a 20-year-old female, presented with lower abdominal pain and a palpable mass on the right side for 3 weeks. On examination: Tender, mobile mass in the right adnexal region No signs of peritonitis Vital signs stable No gastrointestinal or urinary symptoms Diagnosis: Ultrasound Right adnexal mass Management plan: For Exploratory laparotomy

Prognosis

According to Maimuna, she was known to have a long-standing pelvic inflammatory disease. She couldn't get appropriate treatment due to Paucity of fund. Her current presentation with persistent lower abdominal pain and discomfort, along with her recent findings of adnexal mass, is highly suggestive of Chronic sequelae of Pelvic inflammatory disease which might have led to formation of pelvic adhesions. Maimuna's case is a great concern that requires urgent treatment. She was planned for Exploratory laparotomy to expose the pelvic cavity, identify and treat the underlying cause so as to relieve her symptoms and prevent her from developing a frozen pelvis.
