Lubabatu is a 5 month old female infant who is living with her parents in a small community in Bauchi, the parents have 3 other children. The father is a laborer and the mother is a house wife. They live in a 2 rooms apartment, they have a pit toilet, they make use of water from the borehole for their daily activities. They struggle to feed. They don't have access to electricity. Presenting complain: High grade fever, watery stool, cough, persistent crying. Lubabatu presented with complaints of fever which progressed to high grade, stooling was noticed to be watery 2 days ago, there was coughing and excessive crying. On examination, a 5-month-old baby infant, very ill looking, warm to touch with temperature 39.6 degrees Celsius, Tachypneic, unicteric, acyanosed, palor with intercostal and subcostal recission. She was diagnosed with severe Malaria and Pneumonia. The family cannot afford her medical bills, they solicited for medical support from Helpster Charity.

Lubabatu is a 5-month-old baby infant, very ill looking, warm to touch with temperature 39.6 degrees Celsius, Tachypneic, unicteric, acyanosed, palor with intercostal and subcostal recission. She was diagnosed with severe Malaria and Pneumonia. Patient was admitted and was managed with antimalarial injection, injection antibiotics and other supportive until patient was stable. Fever stopped, feeding continued well and was discharged with some oral medications. Patient is to return for follow up after 1 week. The parents looked very exited as their daughter is healthy again, they appreciate Helpster Charity for the medical support.
