Bibi Hadisa, a 20-year-old refugee girl and the eldest of five siblings, has always taken on family responsibilities with strength and care, despite living in a crowded and fragile shelter with her parents and extended family. Her father’s irregular income as a day laborer is not enough to support such a large household, making it impossible for them to afford her urgent treatment. She developed severe abdominal pain, along with vomiting, weakness, and inability to eat, which has now made her condition serious and affecting her daily life. Despite her suffering, she remains patient and hopeful, thinking about her family’s well-being. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through Mr. Mizanur, who referred them to volunteer Ali Azad, and they are now seeking support, as without timely treatment, her condition could become life-threatening and put her life at serious risk.

Doctors have advised an appendectomy, which is a surgical procedure to remove the inflamed appendix and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, Hadisa is expected to recover well, her pain will resolve, and she will be able to return to her normal daily activities and support her family again. The treatment will also prevent the spread of infection and protect her overall health. However, if left untreated, the appendix may rupture, leading to severe infection inside the abdomen, which can be life-threatening. Delay in treatment could result in serious complications and put her life at significant risk, making urgent surgery essential.
