Faith is a 17-year-old girl who is quiet, polite, and enjoys playing volleyball and singing. She dreams of becoming a journalist in the future. She lives with her parents and siblings in a one-room mud-walled house without electricity. Both parents are peasant farmers who rely on small-scale farming to support the family, making it difficult to meet all their needs. Faith had been feeling unwell, experiencing weakness, abdominal pain, headache, heartburn, intermittent fever, and pain during urination. Her mother initially gave her paracetamol for two days, but her condition did not improve. Due to persistent symptoms, she was brought to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity from a neighbor whose child had previously received treatment support at the same facility, and they sought assistance for Faith’s care.

FAITH WAS MANAGED WITH ANTIBIOTICS,ANTIACIDS,ANALGESICS AND OTHER DRUGS AS PER MEDICAL REPORT. SHE RESPONDED SO WELL TO THE CARE AND MANAGEMENT GIVEN TO HER AND STABILIZED. HER CONDITION IMPROVED MUCH BETTER AND WAS THEN DISCHARGED HOME ON ORAL MEDICATIONS TO CONTINUE WITH AT HOME.

Faith was diagnosed with cystitis and peptic ulcer disease, explaining her symptoms of painful urination, abdominal pain, heartburn, and weakness. She was started on antibiotics for cystitis, anti-ulcer medications, and supportive care, with advice on hydration and diet. Her prognosis is good with proper treatment and adherence. With completion of medication, improved nutrition, and follow-up, she is expected to recover fully and resume normal activities.
