Hauwa Mintari is an 11-year-old girl, She lives with her mother, who has a very low income (about 15,000 naira monthly) from a small business and cannot afford the cost of surgery and hospital care. Hauwa is a well-behaved, intelligent child who enjoys reading and dreams of becoming a teacher or nurse. The mother is requesting financial assistance from Helpster Charity Foundation to cover the full treatment, including surgery, hospital care, and follow-up, to ensure the child recovers fully and returns to normal life. Hauwa Mintari, an 11-year-old girl, developed lower abdominal pain that gradually became associated with difficulty in urination over a period of 2 weeks. The symptoms included painful urination, frequent urination, weak urine flow, straining, and occasional blood in the urine. There was no fever or signs of infection. Medical evaluation confirms a diagnosis of bladder stone, which is causing obstruction and irritation in the urinary system. She is awaiting surgery for definitive treatment and full recovery.

Hauwa Mintari, an 11-year-old girl, was admitted on 13/04/2026 with a bladder stone causing abdominal pain, difficulty urinating, and blood in her urine. She underwent a successful cystolithotomy (surgical removal of the bladder stone) and received postoperative pain management, antibiotics, and close medical monitoring. After five days in the hospital, Hauwa recovered well. Her symptoms resolved, she was able to urinate normally, and she was discharged home in good condition, ready to resume her normal daily activities. Hauwa Muntari was diagnosed and admitted for bladder stone (cystolithiasis) causing urinary obstruction and bladder irritation. The child was experiencing significant lower abdominal pain, painful urination, blood in urine, and weak urine flow needed immediate surgical intervention to remove the stone and relieve obstruction to avoid severe complications such as recurrent urinary tract infections, chronic bladder damage, kidney damage from urine backflow (hydronephrosis), and potentially kidney failure. Prognosis is excellent with prompt surgical treatment. If treatment had been delayed or the stone not removed, the condition would have worsened significantly, leading to permanent bladder or kidney damage, severe infection, and long-term urinary problems.
