Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Aisha Nasiru is a 13-year-old girl from a low-income family who is currently suffering from nephrolithiasis She is a calm and intelligent student who enjoys reading and dreams of becoming a doctor in the future. Due to her family’s financial difficulties, they are unable to afford the required surgical treatment and are seeking urgent assistance from Helpster Charity Foundation to support her care and recovery. The family income is 13,000, no latrine, uses community borehole, and has no electricity. Aisha, a 13-year-old girl, suddenly developed left-sided flank pain radiating to the groin, dysuria, nausea, and hematuria about a week before hospital visit. She had no prior infections or trauma. She was diagnosed with an 8 mm kidney stone in the left kidney on ultrasound. Her vital signs and kidney function are stable, but she is still in pain. She is currently awaiting surgery, which will be done once financial assistance is obtained.

Medical history

Aisha Nasiru, a 13-year-old girl, was admitted on 15th April 2026 with an 8 mm kidney stone that was causing her severe pain and difficulty urinating. Thanks to the support of Helpster Charity Foundation, she received the surgery she desperately needed. Doctors successfully removed the stone using a procedure tailored to her condition. She stayed in the hospital for five days, receiving pain relief, fluids, and close monitoring as she healed. After the surgery, her pain disappeared, she was able to urinate normally again, and her appetite and strength gradually returned. Slowly but surely, she began to laugh and play like the healthy 13-year-old she was always meant to be. She was discharged on 20th April 2026, fully recovered. Today, Aisha has gone back to school, reunited with her friends, and is dreaming again of the bright future her parents have always wanted for her. Aisha and her entire family are deeply grateful and thank Helpster Charity Foundation from the bottom of their hearts for giving their daughter a second chance at a healthy, happy life.

Prognosis

What I observed from Aisha Nasiru, a 13-year-old girl with kidney stone in her left kidney that was partially blocking the flow of urine. She was in real pain severe, cramping pain that came in waves and made it hard for her to eat, sleep, or even go to school. She needed timely surgery to remove the stone. With prompt treatment, her prognosis was excellent. The surgery is routine and effective, and she is expected to recover fully without any long-term damage to her kidney. If treatment had been delayed, the stone could have caused a complete blockage, leading to kidney swelling, repeated infections, and permanent kidney damage damage that cannot be undone. Prognosis is good with timely treatment.
