Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Solaiman Patwary is a bright and determined 10-year-old boy who dreams of continuing his studies and helping his family escape poverty one day. He lives with his parents and siblings in a small tin-made house where his father, Delwar Hossain, struggles to support the large family through farming with very limited income, making proper eye treatment impossible to afford. Solaiman developed a painful eye problem that gradually worsened, making it difficult for him to read, play cricket, watch television, and continue his studies normally, causing deep fear and worry for the whole family. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Al Amin, his parents sought urgent help for his treatment and vision care. Without proper treatment, the eye condition may become more serious and could lead to severe complications and permanent loss of vision.

Medical history

Solaiman Patwary, a 10-year-old boy, required treatment for a dermolymphoma in his right eye, which was causing discomfort and had the potential to affect his vision. To address the condition and protect his eye health, he underwent dermolymphoma excision surgery under General Anesthesia on 18.04.2026. The surgery was successfully performed by Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain Sk, Chief Consultant of the Hospital. His treatment progressed smoothly, and he remained under appropriate medical observation and post-operative care during his recovery. Following the procedure, his eye condition improved, and he is expected to experience better comfort and vision as healing continues. We sincerely thank Helpster Charity and Helpster Heroes for their generous support, which enabled Solaiman to receive the necessary treatment and take an important step toward a healthier future.

Prognosis

According to the experienced medical team at Mazharul Haque BNSB Eye Hospital, Chandpur, Solaiman urgently requires granuloma excision surgery in his right eye along with routine follow-up care. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain Sheikh, Chief Consultant, and Dr. Md. Rashedur Rahman, Senior Consultant. The doctors are hopeful that with proper surgical treatment, Solaiman will recover well and regain normal vision. This will allow him to return to school, focus on his studies, and live a healthy, active childhood. However, if the condition is left untreated, the granuloma may grow further, leading to persistent irritation, infection, and possible permanent damage to his vision. This would severely impact his education and future opportunities.
