Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Md. Taohid Islam is a bright and determined 13-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a school teacher and loves reading books in his free time. He lives with his parents and younger brother in a financially struggling family where his father works as a poor farmer and finds it very difficult to afford costly medical treatment. For the last two years, Taohid has been suffering from severe throat pain, mouth breathing, ear pain, hearing problems, and blocked nose, which have gradually worsened and badly affected his studies and daily life. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Bablu Abdullah, his worried family sought urgent medical support, where doctors diagnosed him with adenotonsillitis with OME. Without proper treatment, his condition may become more severe and lead to serious infections, worsening hearing problems, breathing difficulties, and other long-term complications.

Medical history

Md. Taohid Islam was admitted to the hospital on May 09, 2026, with adeno-tonsillitis and OME (Otitis Media with Effusion). He underwent surgery on the same day. After two days of post-operative care, he was discharged in good health. His father and mother came to the hospital to receive him upon discharge. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jumuna Clinic, and Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. His father was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster, which greatly helped during this time.

Prognosis

According to the doctors, Md. Taohid Islam urgently requires adenotonsillectomy and myringotomy to remove the infected tonsils and adenoids and treat the fluid buildup inside his ears. With proper surgery and medical care, his throat pain, breathing difficulty, blocked nose, mouth breathing, and hearing problems are expected to improve gradually, helping him return to normal daily activities and continue his studies properly. Timely treatment can also reduce repeated infections and prevent worsening ear complications. Without proper treatment and surgery, his condition may become more severe and lead to serious infections, worsening hearing loss, breathing problems, and dangerous long-term complications.
