Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

USB SPECIALIZED HOSPITAL

House # 13, Isha Kha Avenue, Sector # 6, Uttara, Dhaka-1239, Bangladesh

Background

Mizanur Rahman is a fragile premature newborn who brought both joy and fear to his struggling family after being born at only 35 weeks. His father, Md. Nazir Islam, works as a construction laborer and earns only around 8,000 BDT per month, while the family survives in a rented room with the support of his elderly grandparents who are no longer able to work. Shortly after birth, Mizanur developed severe breathing problems, convulsions, jaundice, and serious infections, causing his terrified parents to fear for his survival. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer ABM Alamgir at Kuwait Maitree Hospital, the family sought urgent medical support for the newborn’s lifesaving treatment. Without immediate intensive medical care and close monitoring, his condition may rapidly worsen and lead to severe brain injury, organ complications, permanent disability, and life-threatening consequences.

Medical history

Mizanur Rahman, a premature newborn baby, was admitted to the hospital on 01-05-2026 in critical condition with respiratory distress, convulsions, jaundice, and severe neonatal infections. Due to his fragile health condition, he was immediately shifted to the NICU, where doctors provided incubator care, oxygen support, phototherapy, intravenous fluids, antibiotics, anticonvulsants, and continuous monitoring for several days. The medical team closely observed his breathing, feeding, and neurological condition while providing specialized neonatal treatment and supportive care. Gradually, his condition started to improve, his vital signs became stable, and he began feeding properly without major complications. After receiving successful treatment and careful observation, Mizanur Rahman recovered steadily and was discharged from the hospital on 09-05-2026 in a stable, active, and improved condition, bringing relief and happiness to his family.

Prognosis

According to the doctors, timely NICU treatment and continuous medical care have significantly improved Mizanur Rahman’s condition and increased his chances of healthy growth and normal development. With proper treatment, including oxygen support, infection control, anticonvulsant therapy, and phototherapy, his breathing difficulty, seizures, and jaundice were successfully stabilized. Doctors advised that regular follow-up and proper care are still important to monitor his neurological development and overall health as a preterm baby. If he had been left untreated, the lack of oxygen to the brain, severe infection, and prolonged convulsions could have caused permanent brain damage, developmental delay, breathing failure, or even become life-threatening.
