Mst. Najmina Begum is a caring and hardworking 21-year-old pregnant woman who dreams of giving her children a better future. She lives with her husband, young son, and elderly in-laws in a fragile home where her husband earns only around 6,000 BDT per month as a day laborer, making it impossible to manage emergency medical expenses. During her pregnancy, she developed severe abdominal pain and weakness, and doctors later found that her baby is in a risky breech position. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through volunteer Shahid Afridi and sought help because they cannot afford proper treatment and safe delivery care. Doctors warned that without urgent medical support, both the mother and unborn baby could face serious and life-threatening complications during childbirth.

Mst. Najmina Begum was admitted on 30.04.2026 at 35 weeks of pregnancy with a diagnosis of breech presentation. On the same day, she underwent LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) to ensure the safe delivery of her baby. The operation was successful, and the baby was delivered safely. Following the surgery, she received appropriate medical management, including pain control, antibiotics, intravenous fluids, and close monitoring of her vital signs and recovery status. Proper nursing care, along with nutritional support and post-operative guidance, played an important role in her recovery. Gradually, her condition improved, and both mother and baby remained stable and healthy. She was discharged on 03.05.2026 in a safe and stable condition, with advice for follow-up and continued care at home.

The recommended treatment for Najmina Begum is LUCS under SAB, which is the safest option to deliver the baby immediately and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, the baby is expected to recover well and lead a healthy life. However, if the delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may suffer from fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and birth trauma such as brachial plexus injury and head entrapment, while the mother may also face life-threatening infections or complications.
