Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Md. Jahidul Hasan is a gentle and hopeful 13-year-old boy from Geneva Bihari Camp, Dhaka, who studies in Class 5 and dreams of continuing his education so he can support his widowed mother and family in the future. After losing his father, Jahidul has been living with his mother, elder sister Janatul Ferdous, brother Rifard Hossain, and another family member in a small overcrowded shelter where his mother struggles to manage the family by doing domestic work and earning only around 9,000 BDT per month. His repeated throat infections, breathing difficulty, painful swallowing, snoring, and nose bleeding have made it difficult for him to sleep properly, attend school regularly, or enjoy playing with friends like other children. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized by Helpster Charity in Geneva Camp, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Doctors have warned that without proper treatment, his condition may become life-threatening by causing severe breathing problems, repeated infections, heavy nasal bleeding, poor nutrition, and serious complications affecting his overall health and future development.

Medical history

After Helpster support, Md. Jahidul Hasan was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on 05/05/2026 at 12:37 PM for treatment of adenotonsillitis with nasal blockage and nasal bleeding. He received operative treatment, including adenotonsillectomy with turbinoplasty, under the care of Dr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil Ullah. Jahidul stayed in the hospital for about two days and was discharged on 07/05/2026 with medicines and follow-up advice. His treatment was completed successfully, and he is now expected to recover with proper rest, medication, and regular monitoring.

Prognosis

According to the doctors, Md. Jahidul Hasan urgently needs adenotonsillectomy with turbinoplasty and anterior nasal packing to reduce the swelling in his throat and nose, improve his breathing, and stop the repeated nose bleeding. With proper treatment and close medical care, his painful swallowing, nasal blockage, snoring, and recurrent infections are expected to improve gradually, helping him sleep better, eat properly, and continue his studies normally. Doctors believe the treatment will greatly improve his overall health and quality of life. However, if he remains untreated, his condition may worsen further, causing severe breathing difficulties, repeated heavy bleeding, poor nutrition, frequent infections, and potentially life-threatening complications.
