Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Twelve-year-old Md. Amin Hossain lives with his parents and family members Muskan, Brishti Akter, and Sara Rahmash in a small overcrowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp, Dhaka, where poor living conditions and limited income make daily life very difficult. His father, Md. Siraj Hossain, earns only around 9,000 BDT per month. Amin is a polite and hardworking boy who loves studying and dreams of becoming a responsible person to support his family, but repeated throat infections, painful swallowing, fever, and nose bleeding have made him weak and bedridden. Doctors diagnosed him with adenotonsillitis and warned that without proper treatment, his pain, infection, and breathing difficulties may become more severe, potentially leading to serious complications and putting his overall health at risk. During this difficult time, the family learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized in Geneva Camp, which became their hope for Amin’s treatment and recovery.

Medical history

Md. Amin Hossain, aged 12 years, was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital Ltd. on 05 May 2026 at 12:42 PM with adenotonsillitis with bilateral HIT and epistaxis. After evaluation by the ENT specialist, he underwent a tonsillectomy on 05 May 2026. He stayed in the hospital for two days and received operative treatment, medicines, investigations, and post-operative care. Following steady improvement, he was discharged on 07 May 2026 with medicines, diet advice, and follow-up instructions. The patient and his mother expressed sincere gratitude to Helpster Charity and the donors for supporting his treatment and recovery.

Prognosis

According to the doctors, Md. Amin Hossain requires adenotonsillectomy along with cauterization of the bleeding vessels to remove the infected tonsils and control the repeated nose bleeding. With proper treatment, his throat pain, difficulty eating, nasal blockage, and repeated infections are expected to improve significantly, allowing him to breathe more comfortably, regain strength, and continue his studies and daily activities normally. Doctors believe the treatment will greatly improve his overall health and quality of life. If he does not receive timely treatment, the repeated infections, pain, breathing discomfort, and nose bleeding may become more severe over time, leading to further weakness, poor nutrition, sleep problems, and long-term health complications.
