Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Hussaina is a 10-year-old girl whose dad is out of work but does odd jobs. She's quiet and enjoys helping her mom with household tasks. Hussaina dreams of becoming an artist. Two months ago, she suddenly fainted at home because of pain in both sides of her lower back and was quickly taken to the hospital. After taking some medicine, she felt better. But recently, she started experiencing pain again in the same area, along with fever, dizziness, and pain while urinating. The pain got worse, and after some medical tests, doctors found out she has Acute Malaria, a kidney infection on the right side (Rt Pyelonephritis), and a bladder infection (Cystitis).
Medical history
Hussaina was brought to UMD Medical Clinic due to intermittent fever, abdominal pain, dysuria, vomiting, and restlessness. After preliminary investigations, she was diagnosed with Acute Malaria complicated by right Pyelonephritis with Cystitis. She was hospitalized for three days from December 25 to December 27, 2023, and then discharged home. Currently, she is showing improvement, and her family expressed gratitude for the free treatment.
Outcome
The treatment for right-sided pyelonephritis with chronic cystitis generally involves a combination of the specific type of antibiotic, and pain-management medication. Without treatment, the infection can worsen, leading to more severe symptoms and discomfort.
