Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Usma Tanisa is a gentle and creative 11-year-old girl from Geneva Bihari Camp who loves drawing and dreams of becoming a school teacher to help children in her community receive an education. She lives with her parents in a small overcrowded shelter where her father works tirelessly as a hair dyer earning only around 9,000 BDT per month, leaving the family unable to afford costly surgery, medicines, and hospital expenses after managing basic food and daily necessities. Usma’s repeated throat infections, painful swallowing, high fever, nasal blockage, and frightening episodes of nose bleeding have made it difficult for her to eat properly, sleep peacefully, continue her studies, or enjoy a normal childhood, causing deep fear and anxiety for her family. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized by Helpster Charity in Geneva Camp, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Doctors have warned that without urgent treatment, her condition may worsen further, causing severe breathing difficulties, repeated heavy bleeding, worsening infection, weakness, poor nutrition, and potentially life-threatening complications affecting her overall health and future well-being.
Medical history
Usma Tanisa was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on May 5, 2026, at 03:08 PM with a painful diagnosis of adenotonsillitis, bilateral hypertrophied inferior turbinates, and epistaxis. On May 6, 2026, she successfully underwent a surgical tonsillectomy and blood vessel cauterization under general anesthesia to eradicate her chronic infection and stop her recurring nasal bleeding. During her four-day hospital stay, she showed steady clinical improvement, allowing her to be safely discharged in a stable condition on May 9, 2026, with a prescriptive regimen for home care. She is now comfortably recovering at home while finishing her 14-day medication course, completely relieved from the severe physical suffering that had disrupted her childhood.
Prognosis
According to the doctors, Usma Tanisa urgently needs adenotonsillectomy with cauterisation of the bleeding vessels to control her repeated throat infections and stop the recurrent nose bleeding. With proper treatment and close medical care, her painful swallowing, fever, breathing difficulty, nasal blockage, and bleeding episodes are expected to improve gradually, helping her eat properly, sleep peacefully, and continue her studies normally. Doctors believe the surgery will greatly improve her overall health and quality of life. However, if she remains untreated, the infection and swelling may worsen further, causing severe breathing problems, repeated heavy bleeding, weakness, poor nutrition, frequent infections, and potentially life-threatening complications.
