Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Sanjida Akter is a polite and hardworking 20-year-old woman who dreams of living a healthy and peaceful life with her family despite their poverty. She lives with her husband, Arafat Khandaker, and her mother in fragile living conditions where her husband earns only around 7,000 BDT per month as a garment worker, making medical treatment very difficult for the family. For the last two years, Sanjida has been suffering from severe breathing problems, blocked nose, mouth breathing, and disturbed sleep, which have gradually affected her daily life and overall health. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana, her worried family sought urgent help for her treatment and care. Without proper treatment, her breathing problems and repeated infections may become more severe and could lead to serious long-term health complications.

Medical history

Sanida Akter initially experienced symptoms such as recurrent respiratory infections, nasal congestion, noisy breathing during sleep, and mouth breathing for a prolonged period. As her condition persisted and worsened, she sought medical attention. After clinical evaluation and necessary investigations, she was diagnosed with a deviated nasal septum (DNS) to the left side. Based on the diagnosis, doctors recommended surgical management, including septoplasty with FESS and antral washing under general anesthesia to correct the nasal obstruction and improve breathing. She was admitted to the hospital on 06/05/2026 and successfully underwent treatment. After proper postoperative care and monitoring, she was discharged on 08/05/2026 in stable condition.

Outcome

According to the doctors, Sanjida Akter urgently requires Septoplasty with FESS and antral washing under general anesthesia to correct the blocked nasal passage and control the repeated infections affecting her breathing. With proper surgery and medical care, her nasal blockage, mouth breathing, disturbed sleep, and breathing difficulties are expected to improve gradually, helping her return to a healthier and more comfortable life. The treatment may also reduce repeated infections and improve her sense of smell and overall well-being. Without proper surgery and treatment, her condition may worsen further, causing severe breathing problems, repeated infections, sleep disturbance, and serious long-term health complications.
