Nusrat Jahan Jim is a calm and intelligent 9-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a nurse and loves playing with her friends. She lives with her parents, elder sister Mim, and younger brother Alif in a fragile home where her father, Md. Najmul, struggles to support the family by working as a day laborer and earning only around 6,000 BDT per month, making medical treatment very difficult for them. Nusrat became seriously ill with continuous fever, vomiting, weakness, stomach problems, loose stools, and loss of appetite, which left her unable to study or play normally and caused deep worry for her family. After learning about Helpster Charity through a leaflet distributed by volunteer Shahid Afridi, her family brought her to New Evercare Hospital for treatment. Without proper treatment, the typhoid infection may become more severe and cause dangerous complications, severe weakness, dehydration, and serious risk to her health.

Nusrat Jahan Jim was admitted on 23.04.2026 with a diagnosis of typhoid fever. Upon admission, she was carefully evaluated and started on appropriate antibiotic therapy along with supportive treatment, including intravenous fluids, antipyretics, and nutritional support. Her vital signs and overall clinical condition were closely monitored throughout her hospital stay. With proper medical management and attentive nursing care, her fever gradually subsided, her appetite improved, and her physical condition became stable. She responded well to the treatment without any complications. She recovered successfully and was discharged on 28.04.2026 in a safe and stable condition, with advice for follow-up care and completion of the prescribed medications.

The doctor has recommended immediate hospital admission for Jim so she can receive proper antibiotics, medication, and other supportive care. With timely treatment, her fluid levels can be restored, her weakness will improve, and she will have a strong chance of making a full recovery. Supportive therapy will help her body regain strength and prevent further complications. However, if left untreated, it can lead to serious complications such as intestinal perforation, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, seizures, meningitis, and myocarditis. Without urgent care, this condition could become life-threatening for such a young child.
