Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Masuda Begum is a calm and caring 38-year-old pregnant woman who dreams of raising her children as honest and successful people. She lives with her husband, daughter Rina, and elderly mother-in-law in a fragile home where her husband, Md. Emdadul, struggles to support the family by working as a day laborer and earning only around 6,000 BDT per month, making medical treatment very difficult for them. During her pregnancy, she developed lower abdominal pain, weakness, discomfort, and hardening of the abdomen, causing deep fear and anxiety for the whole family. After learning about Helpster Charity through a health worker and volunteer Shahid Afridi, the family brought her to New Evercare Hospital where doctors found that her baby is in a risky breech position. Without proper treatment and safe delivery care, both the mother and unborn baby could face serious and life-threatening complications during childbirth.

Medical history

Most. Masuda Begum was admitted to the hospital on 03.06.2026 with a 33-week and 2-day pregnancy complicated by a breech presentation. She underwent a successful LUCS on the same day under the supervision of Dr. Nur Nahar Nargis, Surgeon, and Dr. Mizan, Anaesthetist. The baby was delivered safely, and both mother and newborn received proper medical management, continuous postoperative monitoring, and attentive nursing care. Their condition improved steadily, and they recovered well. As they remained stable and free from complications, both were discharged in good health on 06.06.2026.

Prognosis

The recommended treatment for her is LSCS under SAB, which is the safest option to deliver the baby immediately and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, the baby is expected to recover well and lead a healthy life. However, if the delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may suffer from oxygen deprivation, leading to permanent brain damage or even death, and the mother may also face life-threatening infections or complications.
