Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTER

Roumari, Kurigram

Background

Jhorna Khatun is a kind and hopeful 18-year-old young mother who dreams of safely welcoming her first child and building a better future for her family. She lives with her husband and four dependent family members, including her elderly in-laws, grandmother-in-law, and unemployed brother-in-law, while her husband is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of only BDT 8,000, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of the surgery she urgently needs. Doctors have found that her pregnancy has continued beyond the expected delivery date, placing both mother and baby at high risk, and without timely treatment, they could face serious, potentially life-threatening complications, including fetal distress, lack of oxygen to the baby, severe bleeding, uterine rupture, stillbirth, or loss of the mother's life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital, giving them hope when they had no other way to pay for her treatment. With timely medical care and the recommended Caesarean section, Jhorna and her baby have the best chance of a safe delivery and a healthy future together.

Medical history

Jhorna Khatun was admitted to the hospital on 30/04/2026 due to complications from a postdated pregnancy, which increased the risk of delayed labor and fetal distress. Considering her condition, doctors performed a planned Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS). The surgery was successfully completed, and a healthy baby was delivered safely. After the operation, Jhorna received proper post-operative care, including medications, antibiotics, and nutritional support. Both mother and baby remained stable and showed steady improvement during the hospital stay. She was able to move comfortably and care for her newborn within a few days. Jhorna was discharged from the hospital on 03/05/2026 in good health. Jhorna and her family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the medical team for their timely support and compassionate care, which ensured a safe delivery and the well-being of both mother and child.

Outcome

The doctors have recommended a Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) for Jhorna Khatun to ensure the safe delivery of her baby, as her postdated pregnancy increases the risk of serious complications. With timely surgical intervention and proper medical care, there is a high chance of a safe delivery, helping Jhorna recover and care for her newborn and family. This planned procedure will reduce risks such as fetal distress, prolonged labor, and other complications related to delayed delivery. Without proper treatment, there could be life-threatening risks for both mother and baby, making urgent intervention essential.
