Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Khairun is an 8-year-old girl who lives in a village and goes to a local government school in 4th grade. Her dad drives a rickshaw, and her mom is a skilled tailor. Khairun wants to help her family, who, despite having little money, are very happy. She's the top athlete in her school, excelling in running, jumping, and her studies too. Her mom hopes Khairun will become a doctor one day, helping and offering free healthcare to those in need. Recently, a doctor diagnosed Khairun with tonsillitis and said she needs surgery soon. Unfortunately, her family can't afford the cost of the operation.

Medical history

Khairun's tonsils were severely infected and swollen, making it difficult for her to eat and breathe. Surgery was necessary to remove them, performed under general anesthesia by skilled surgeons. Fortunately, there were no complications post-surgery, and Khairun spent three days in the hospital. Now, she feels significantly better and has resumed her normal activities. Both the hospital staff and her parents are relieved and grateful for the successful surgery. Dr. Arif kindly visited Khairun's home to check on her health of Khairun. Khairun now enjoys a happy, active life, smiling often, running, riding rickshaws with her dad, and eating properly. Her mother, Tania, feels a sense of relief. Khairun's parents express deep gratitude to Helpster Charity and RUDO Hospital for assisting their daughter. With Khairun now able to breathe and eat properly, they have been spared from financial strain. They extend heartfelt thanks for lifting the burden of worry from their shoulders.

Outcome

Enlarged tonsils can trap bacteria and viruses, leading to recurrent throat and ear infections. These infections can cause discomfort, pain, and may require repeated courses of antibiotics. An adenotonsillectomy is a medical procedure in which both the adenoids and tonsils are surgically removed. The adenoids are small glands located at the back of the throat, while the tonsils are situated on either side of the throat.
