Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Selina Akhter Khushi is a resilient and hardworking 18-year-old young woman who dreams of opening her own tailoring boutique and helping support her family through her sewing skills. She lives with her husband and close family members in the overcrowded Geneva Camp, where her husband's modest income of only BDT 9,000 per month is barely enough to provide food and basic necessities, leaving nothing for the cost of her medical treatment. Her severe neck muscle spasm has become so painful that she can barely move her neck or perform her daily responsibilities, and without timely treatment, the condition could worsen, causing persistent disability, severe pain, nerve compression, chronic stiffness, and other serious complications that could permanently affect her quality of life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized in Geneva Camp, giving them hope when they had no other way to afford her treatment. With timely medical care, Selina has the opportunity to recover, regain her mobility, and continue pursuing her dream of building a better future for her family.

Medical history

Selina Akther Khushi, backed by the life-changing generosity of Helpster Charity and its compassionate donors, was safely admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on May 24, 2026, at 02:30 PM to confront an acute, debilitating musculoskeletal crisis. Over the course of a vital three-day hospital stay, dedicated medical professionals utilized critical spinal CT scans and detailed blood work to map out her severe condition and rule out systemic complications. Through intensive conservative inpatient management, her medical team successfully administered targeted pain relief and muscle relaxants that finally broke the agonizing cycle of her severe muscle spasms. On May 27, 2026, she was joyfully discharged in significantly improved condition, equipped with a comprehensive 5-day recovery prescription and a clear, home-based physiotherapy strategy. Today, thanks entirely to this swift and kindhearted donor intervention, she is back in her Geneva Camp home recovering in true comfort, moving her neck with minimal pain and confidently reclaiming her long-held dreams.

Outcome

According to the treating doctor, conservative treatment with pain relievers, muscle relaxants, fever-reducing medicines, and physiotherapy is essential to relieve Selina's severe neck muscle spasm, restore normal neck movement, and prevent further complications. With timely treatment, her pain and stiffness are expected to improve gradually, allowing her to regain full neck function and return to her normal daily activities. However, if left untreated, the persistent muscle spasm may cause worsening pain, severe restriction of neck movement, chronic disability, nerve compression, and missed diagnosis of a more serious underlying condition, which could lead to potentially life-threatening complications if an infection or spinal disorder is present. Early medical treatment and close follow-up provide the best chance for a full recovery.
