Momota Rani is a caring and responsible 18-year-old woman who is eagerly awaiting the birth of her first child and hopes for a safe delivery. She lives with her husband, a day laborer earning only around BDT 6,000 per month, and her elderly parents-in-law, who are unable to work and depend on the family's limited income. Their financial hardship makes it impossible for them to afford the specialized medical care needed during her pregnancy after covering basic household expenses. Doctors have found that her baby is lying in a transverse position, which is not safe for a normal delivery and requires close medical supervision. Without timely treatment and proper delivery care, serious complications could occur during childbirth, putting both Momota and her unborn baby at risk.

The patient, Momota Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 27th May 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy2.5 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 31th May 2026 with proper postnatal advice. According to the treating doctors, LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) offers the safest option for delivering Momota's baby because the baby is lying in a transverse position and cannot be delivered safely through a normal birth. The procedure is expected to reduce the risk of complications during delivery and help ensure the safety of both mother and child. With timely surgical intervention, Momota has a good chance of a safe delivery and recovery. However, if left untreated or if delivery is delayed, the abnormal position of the baby could lead to obstructed labor, severe bleeding, fetal distress, or other life-threatening complications.
