Emmanuel is a 3-year-old boy and the fourth-born in a family of five children. He lives with both parents and his siblings in a modest two-roomed mud-walled house without electricity. His mother is a homemaker, while his father is the sole provider and relies on occasional casual jobs to earn an income for the family. The limited and unpredictable earnings often make it difficult to meet the household's basic needs. According to his mother, Emmanuel began showing signs of illness one day before being brought to the hospital. He developed fever, body pains, and chills, which caused concern as his condition appeared to be worsening. Although she was aware of the free treatment program supported by Helpster Charity, she initially lacked the money needed for transport to the health facility. She had learned about Helpster through announcements made by the village elder within the community. Determined to seek medical care for her son, she borrowed transport fare from a neighbor and brought Emmanuel to the hospital for assessment and treatment. Upon arrival, he was evaluated by the medical team and enrolled for appropriate care and support.

EMMANUEL WAS MANAGED WITH ANTIBIOTICS, IV FLUIDS, HAEMATONICS AND ANTI-MALARIALS AND OTHER DRUGS AS PER MEDICAL REPORT. HE RESPONDED SO WELL TO THE CARE AND MANAGEMENT THAT WAS GIVEN TO HIM AND HIS CONDITION IMPROVED BETTER. HE WAS THEN DISCHARGED HOME HOME ON ORAL MEDICATIONS TO COMPLETE AT HOME.

Emmanuel was diagnosed with severe malaria, a serious condition that required urgent medical attention due to the risk of life-threatening complications if left untreated. His symptoms of fever, chills, body pains, and worsening general condition were consistent with severe malaria and warranted prompt intervention. Appropriate antimalarial treatment and supportive care were initiated to stabilize his condition and prevent further deterioration. Following treatment, Emmanuel is showing encouraging clinical improvement. Prognosis is good
