Salisu is a lively and cheerful six year-old boy who loves playing with his friends and helping his parents around the house. He is curious, observant, and enjoys listening to stories from his elders. Salisu came from a financially disadvantaged family, he is the 5th child of family of eight. He dreams of becoming a health care worker one day so he can care for the sick in his community and make his family proud. Salisu was healthy until about ten days ago when he began experiencing lower abdominal pain and difficulty urinating. His parents noticed that he strained while passing urine, which sometimes appeared blood-stained. He also complained of a frequent urge to urinate, often passing only small amounts. Ultrasound confirmed the presence of a bladder stone. He is currently scheduled for cystolithotomy surgery, pending approval from the Helpster Charity Foundation.

Salisu is suffering from a Large bladder stone causing urinary retention with severe lower abdominal pain.it can cause complications including recurrent urinary tract infection and damage to the kidneys from urine back-pressure. If left untreated, they can lead to serious health problems like bladder inflammation, chronic pain, and, in rare cases, a potential association with bladder cancer. Doctor's opinion - Surgery is the best option to relieve his current symptoms to improve his well being. Prognosis: Bladder stone will have a positive outcome once surgery is done early in a patient. His treatment will be done with surgery and medications, he will be admitted for the course of the treatment.
