Walid Hasan is a cheerful 4-month-old baby whose smile brings joy to his parents, Rasel Mia and Jisa Moni, and his grandmother, Sefali Begum. The family lives in fragile conditions without a permanent home, surviving on Rasel's monthly income of only 7,000 BDT, which is barely enough to cover food and daily necessities, leaving them unable to afford hospital treatment. When Walid developed measles complicated by pneumonia and an eye infection, his condition rapidly worsened, causing fever, breathing difficulties, and a widespread rash that placed his young life at serious risk. Without urgent medical care, the infection could have spread throughout his body, leading to severe breathing failure and other life-threatening complications. After learning about Helpster Charity through Volunteer Masud Rana, the family found hope that Walid could receive the lifesaving treatment he desperately needed.

Walid Hasan, a 4-month-old male infant, was admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital on 05-06-2026 with complaints of fever, cough, runny nose, generalized skin rash, breathing difficulty, and discharge from both eyes. Following clinical assessment and necessary investigations, including CBC and Chest X-ray (P/A View), he was diagnosed with measles, pneumonia, and conjunctivitis. The patient received conservative treatment, including appropriate medications, supportive care, close monitoring, and management of respiratory symptoms during his hospital stay. His clinical condition gradually improved with treatment, and no major complications developed. After satisfactory recovery and stabilization of his condition, he was discharged from the hospital on 10-06-2026 with advice for follow-up care and continuation of prescribed medications as recommended by the treating physician.

Doctors expect Walid's condition to improve with hospitalization, supportive treatment, and close monitoring. The treatment will help control his fever, support his breathing, keep him hydrated, and allow his body to recover from the infections affecting his lungs and eyes. With proper medical care, he has a good chance of making a full recovery and continuing his normal growth and development.
