Surjo Banu is a caring and devoted 30-year-old mother who always puts her family's needs before her own and hopes to safely welcome her second child into the world. She lives with her husband, their 8-year-old daughter Sadia, and her elderly mother-in-law, while her husband is the only earning member, working as an auto van driver with a monthly income of only BDT 7,000, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of the treatment she urgently needs.
