Habiba is a 21-year-old woman from Musawa Village. She is a full-time housewife who lives with her husband in a modest single-room mud house. Her husband is a small-scale farmer and the sole provider for the family, earning approximately ₦5,500 per month. This limited income is barely enough to cover their daily needs, leaving the family vulnerable to financial hardship.

Habiba was diagnosed with an incomplete miscarriage at 12 weeks gestation, a condition in which some pregnancy tissue had been expelled from the uterus while some remained retained. This resulted in vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, and placed her at risk of excessive blood loss, infection, and other complications if not promptly managed. Upon presentation, she required urgent medical attention and was carefully evaluated and stabilized. Appropriate treatment was initiated to remove the retained products of conception, control the bleeding, and prevent infection. She responded well to treatment, and her condition improved steadily during her hospital stay. The prognosis is good due to the timely medical intervention and favorable response to treatment. With proper follow-up care, adequate rest, and adherence to medical advice, Habiba is expected to make a full physical recovery. Emotional support and counseling were also recommended to assist her in coping with the loss of the pregnancy.
