Mimi is a 19-year-old polite and hardworking woman who enjoys making homemade sweets and dreams of building a home of her own. She lives with her husband and two elderly in-laws in fragile housing, while her husband is the sole earning member and works as a day laborer, earning only approximately USD 49 per month, making it extremely difficult to afford her medical expenses.
