Jahanara Begum is an 18-year-old girl who was previously reasonably well and healthy until she suddenly developed frequent loose, watery stools accompanied by abdominal pain. Her father, Abul, is the sole earning member of the four-member family and works as a day laborer, earning approximately USD 74 per month, which is barely enough to support Jahanara, her mother, and her younger brother. With such limited income, the family struggles to meet their daily household needs and cannot afford the medical expenses required for her treatment. She was diagnosed with acute watery diarrhea, and without timely treatment, continued fluid loss could cause severe dehydration, weakness, and potentially life-threatening complications. The family sought medical assistance and was introduced to the Helpster support program, which may help Jahanara receive the necessary care without placing further financial pressure on her family.

Doctor suggests to get admitted to hospital. Doctor and Nurses provide the patient proper treatment and affectionate care. As a result, Jahanara Begum comes round from her illness and becomes heathy. At 07th July 2026, we discharged her. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Charity and the hospital for their timely and effective care.

Doctors have advised treatment with parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to effectively control Jahanara Begum’s Diarrhoea. With timely and complete treatment, her Diarrhoea will gradually subside, her strength will return, and she will be able to resume her studies and daily activities without long-term effects. Proper medical care will also prevent the infection from spreading and protect her vital organs. However, if left untreated, Diarrhoea can lead to severe complications. Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure her full recovery and safeguard her future health.
