Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Abu Huraira is a cheerful and innocent two-year-old boy whose smile brings endless joy to his young parents despite their daily struggles. His father, Mominul Islam Sujon, earns only BDT 8,500 per month as a caretaker and security guard, while his mother, Tayeba Tabassum Kotha, is a homemaker, and the family has no home of their own, living in a small room provided by the house owner, making even basic living expenses difficult to manage. After previously receiving life-saving surgery for severe kidney obstruction through Helpster Charity (Patient ID: 4937), Abu Huraira now requires DJ stent removal, the final step needed to complete his treatment and protect his kidney function. The family first learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer ABM Alamgir during a community outreach program, giving them hope when they had no financial means to continue treatment. Without timely removal of the DJ stent, Abu Huraira could develop serious complications such as urinary tract infection, blockage of urine flow, kidney damage, severe pain, and the need for further complex surgery, putting his health and future at risk.

Prognosis

According to the treating doctors, removing the DJ stent is an important step in completing Abu Huraira's treatment after his successful Anderson-Hynes (A-H) pyeloplasty. The procedure will help ensure that urine flows normally, allow the kidney to heal completely, and reduce the risk of future infections or urinary obstruction. With timely removal of the stent and regular follow-up, Abu Huraira is expected to recover well and maintain healthy kidney function. However, if the DJ stent is left in place for too long, it may lead to complications such as infection, stent blockage, stone formation, kidney damage, or recurrent urinary tract problems, which could require further treatment.
