Most. Sukhi is a calm and resilient 18-year-old expectant mother who lives with her husband in a family of two, hoping to welcome her first child safely despite their difficult circumstances. Her husband is the family's only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 6,000, which is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, leaving them unable to afford the cost of emergency hospitalization, surgery, medicines, and delivery-related care. After learning about Helpster Charity through a leaflet and receiving guidance from a Helpster volunteer, the family sought assistance in the hope of saving both Sukhi and her unborn baby. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely emergency Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS), severe oligohydramnios may lead to umbilical cord compression, fetal distress, oxygen deprivation, stillbirth, premature birth, and other life-threatening complications that could endanger both the mother and her baby.

The recommended treatment for her is Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) under Spinal Anesthesia (SAB), which is the safest option to deliver the baby immediately and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, both the mother and the baby are expected to recover well, and the baby is expected to lead a healthy life. However, if the delivery is delayed or left untreated, serious complications may occur, including obstructed labor, fetal oxygen deprivation, and intrauterine fetal death (IUFD).
