Tanjim Ahmed is a cheerful and innocent 7-month-old baby who brings joy to his large family despite their daily struggles. His father, Sabu Ahmed, earns only about BDT 6,000 per month as a day labourer and is the sole provider for eight family members, including Tanjim's grandmother, elder brother Tarim, and three sisters, making it impossible to afford the cost of hospitalization and treatment. When Tanjim developed measles complicated by severe pneumonia and a fever-related seizure, his condition became frighteningly serious, leaving his parents terrified for his life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Ema, who guided them toward the support they desperately needed during this crisis. Without urgent medical treatment, Tanjim could suffer worsening pneumonia, repeated seizures, severe breathing problems, permanent health complications, or even death

Hospitalization under a physician with supportive treatment, management of pneumonia and measles, fever control, seizure monitoring, respiratory support, and close observation. According to the treating physician, timely treatment is essential to control Tanjim Ahmed's pneumonia, manage the measles infection, reduce fever, and prevent further seizures. With proper hospitalization, medications, supportive care, and monitoring, his breathing can improve, the infection can be controlled, and he can make a full recovery without long-term complications. Early treatment will also reduce the risk of dehydration, worsening lung infection, and recurrent convulsions. However, if left untreated, pneumonia may progress to severe respiratory failure, while measles can lead to serious complications such as severe lung infection, brain inflammation, malnutrition, and repeated seizures.
